Damaris Zehner, first place winner of GAC’s writing competition, then presented her poem, “This Fallen World.” She was followed by Mickey Meehan’s

tender insights into the life and work of the late painter William Meehan, whose work also was on display. The Steve Snyder Trio serenaded the group with more electric jazz, and Eric Wolfe, owner of Prime Real Estate Group, the exclusive sponsor for the event, was presented with a gift of an original woodcut print by local artist Matt Rees. Eric then drew the winning names in the raffle of four original art works donated by local artists Jordan Alexander, Lavinia Hale, Matt Rees, and Lynne Tweedie.
